Riding
horseback is one of the most enjoyable ways of exploring the Andes,
and our stables in Yerba Loca Sactuary are just 45 minutes from
Santiago! Our guide, a huaso, or Chilean cowboy, will take us
along alpine trails that will allow us to view flora and fauna,
and perhaps even view the enormous condor normally seen flying
in this area. |

This
tour is available every day between the months of September and
May. We suggest the following itinerary, however we can adjust
this schedule according to your needs:
9:00 Departure
from your hotel in Santiago
10:00 Arrival in Yerba Loca Sancturary where we will begin riding
11:30 Break and snack
1:00 Arrival at top of trail and stop for lunch
2:00 Begin ride down to park entrance
5:00 Return to the park entrance and departure for Santiago
6:00 Arrival in Santiago |
