VALLE
NEVADO: DAYS 1 - 5
Valle
Nevado--the international resort nearest to Santiago--sits
high above the city. It has the largest skiable terrain in Chile,
and tickets can be purchased to connect to neighboring resorts
La
Parva and El
Colorado. The terrain includes expansive intermediate groomers,
and a smaller percentage of steep drops off peaks like Tres Puntos
and Cerro Negro.
Day 1: Arrival
to Santiago International Airport and transfer to Valle Nevado.
Typically international flights arrive in the morning and you
will be skiing by 1pm.
Day 2-4: Skiing and riding at Valle Nevado.
Day 5: Return to Santiago at your convenience. Your package includes
a full day of skiing if you check out by 10am, or you can leave
mid-day and enjoy tastings at a winery in the Maipo Valley on
your way to your hotel in Santiago and take a brief tour of the
city.
TERMAS
DE CHILLAN: DAYS 6-9
Located five hours south of Santiago, Termas
de Chillan gets high marks for snow conditions, weather, terrain
and infrastructure. With tree skiing on the lower slopes, groomers
leading from the peak to the base, expansive off-piste terrain,
an active volcano and a 5-star hotel at the base with world-class
spa facilities, you couldn’t ask for more.
Day 6: Transfer
to the Santiago train station for a five hour scenic train ride
through the central valley to the town of Chillan. Upon arrival
in Chillan, transfer to the Grand Hotel Termas de Chillan.
Day 7-8: Skiing and riding at Nevados de Chillan resort
Day 9: Morning skiing before departure for Chillan and train to
Santiago in time for your international flight.
